Wishing

I wish I could make it all better,
I wish I did not care,
I wish dreams could just happen,
Without so much pain and despair.

I wish I would try harder,
To make things work for the best,
I wish my fear would wobble,
And not be always there.

I wish I could simply talk to you,
Without making you feel bad,
I wish my words would calm you,
Without making you regret.

But all I can do for now is wish,
For there is no taking back,
And wishing to me is enough,
For I know that you truly care.
